Give Oakland

Give In Oakland helps you have an impact where you live. Even if you already give to a lot of wonderful causes, giving where you live is a different kind of experience.

Here is a chance to help support city-wide non-profits that impact us all because they offer opportunities to people in every part of our city.

Every dollar donated in Oakland stays in Oakland.

Most of our organizations are run "on a shoestring" and your donation of $10, $50 or more will have an immediate impact on the budget AND on the morale of hardworking staff of the non-profit.

Donate now to become a new hero to an Oakland non-profit.

Oakland non-profits do great things like

  • provide youth services as part of the City's violence prevention mission
  • give children confidence through art and music training
  • serve LGBT isolated seniors
  • help high school atheletes balance sports and academic
  • and dozens more ways that make life better for everyone in Oakland

Every link will take you to a website where you can donate to the specific organization. Give In Oakland doesn't accept any donations and doesn't charge the organizations to be listed.
Give In Oakland was created in December 2010 to inspire local giving. If you have ideas about groups that should be listed, please send them to us at ideas@giveinoakland.org
